This New Shomer Shabbat Theatre Company was founded by Yishai Freedman and Chana Englander.
Jesse (Yishai) Freedman is a Director, Playwright and magician. A recent Graduate of New School University in New York City, he continues to enroll in Yeshiva Summer programs and withdrawal early in existential angst. Last spring he was the co-recipient of the Jewish initiative Grant for "The Tehillim Project". In the theatre he continues to combine traditional Jewish Texts with modern theatre forms and continues to developed his one man magic show "spazzeltoof". He hopes to found a professional theatre company for Torah observant Jews and Children of Noah.
