July 25-28

four-day spiritual retreat which

led by Aryeh ben David and Yehoshua Rubin.

from: y_arubin@zahav.net.il

Shalom , I am writing to invite you to a four-day spiritual retreat which will be led by Aryeh ben David and Yehoshua Rubin. Dates :July 25-28. Place : Almog Guest house-Northern Dead Sea

Description: The retreat was created because many of us are strangers to our own souls This retreat is a wonderful opportunity to leave the noise and distractions of the city and focus on our inner lives.

The retreat balances classes on the Jewish approach to spirituality, experiential activities, art workshops, guided imageries, sunrise hikes, and private time. This diverse combination allows people of different inclinations to explore their personal spiritual identity.

Comments from previous retreats: "I am more open to different spiritual approaches in prayer and life. I also am more conscious of what a spiritual person is."

"The retreat made me realize things that I had not allowed myself to think about. It also provided me with a time and a space to reflect, whereas in a regular week there is no such time."

"From the beginning there was deep respect on the part of all the participants. We felt safe. What happened for me was so important. First, I began to really trust the other members of the group. Secondly, as we did visualizations I began to trust myself and my future. The class on the 5 levels of the soul was very helpful to ground my spirituality in Judaism."
